As the Director of Investment Analytics at Eastwood Forests, Will leads asset valuation, market intelligence, and portfolio modeling working in close conjunction with Accounting and Forest Analytic teams. Prior to joining Eastwood Forests, Will worked as the Forestland Analyst at the largest natural forest-focused TIMO in North America, The Forestland Group, for two years overseeing forest valuations with key roles in supporting transactions, inventory, GIS, and forest carbon and management. Will started his professional career working as an Investment Analyst at Resource Management Service, LLC (RMS), a leading plantation-focused TIMO with over four billion USD in AUM invested in the US, Brazil, Australasia, and China where he worked across teams related to investment management and forest operations. Will holds a MS in Natural Resource Management and Economics and a BS in Natural Resource Policy and Administration from North Carolina State University, with a thesis focused on forest carbon interactions with woody biomass feedstock selection.
